Safety in General
In addition to following the regulations above, Goodales maintains a strong safety record with both its employees and the public. Many Goodales drivers have over 20 years of experience driving large trucks on the Vineyard in summer traffic. Their experience helps them recognize potential hazards and, in turn, helps them prevent accidents. This experience is used to train newer Goodales drivers so that they, too, can benefit from the experienced drivers' wisdom.
Internal operations at Goodales protect our employees as well as the public as much as possible on a large, commmercial site. Equipment is maintained to the highest standards. During the many annual MSHA inspections, inspectors have commented on how impressed they are with the operations of Goodales.
